OCALA, Fl. (THECOUNT) — June Hugo, of Ocala, FL, has been identified as the victim found shot dead in a vehicle at Kangaroo Express gas station, in Ocala, Thursday morning
Hugo, 18, was found suffering from at least one gunshot wound while seated in a vehicle parked at Kangaroo Express, located at, 5986 FL-40, Ocala, FL.
Upon arrival to a call of shots fire, police discovered Hugo mortally injured inside a red sedan parked in front of the Circle K store.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of gunshot wounds.
Deputies said authorities were called to the Circle K gas station at 5986 West Highway 40 in Ocala because a man had been shot. Deputies said they found Hugo suffering from gunshot wounds inside a red sedan parked in front of the store. He was taken to a hospital, where he died, deputies said. source
Two persons of interest were detained near the Circle K, but deputies said they have not been officially linked to Hugo’s death.
An investigation is ongoing.
