WASHINGTON, DC. (THECOUNT) — A man found fatally stabbed at a Valero gas station late Tuesday night in Northeast D.C., marks the 126th homicide in the DC area, compared to 88 at the same time last year.
The 126th murder was logged by authorities after police officers were flagged down by a concerned citizen at a gas station located at 3710 Minnesota Ave. around 10:37 p.m.

Upon arrival, police discovered a man at the Valero suffering from at least one stab wound.
The victim was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead.
The victim has not been identified.
