ESCAMBIA COUNTY , FL. (THECOUNT) – Ronald Smedley, of Milton, FL, has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle Saturday night on County Road 95A, near Archer Road, in Gonzalez, FL.
Ron Smedley, 31, was named as the Milton man killed after the Florida Highway Patrol says he was hit by an SUV Saturday night while walking on 95A.
According to a report from the FHP the crash happened at about 8:30 Saturday night along Archer Road, Cantonment, Florida, near the intersection of Archer Road. source
The report says Smedley was walking in the travel lane of 95 when he was hit by an SUV.
The report says the driver stopped and there are no charges pending, according to officials.
Anyone with possible information on the deadly incident can call police at 911.
