PATCHOGUE, NY (THECOUNT) — Chester Ciancarelli, of Shirley, NY, has been arrested after crashing his vehicle into a Patchogue tattoo parlor Saturday night.
Ciancarelli, 44, was arrested for DWI after crashing his vehicle into Patchogue business, Long Island Ink, Saturday night, Suffolk Police said. A 38-year-old female passenger was injured in the collision.
According to police, Chester Ciancarelli was driving a 2012 Toyota Scion eastbound in the westbound lane on East Main Street, near the intersection of Bay Avenue, when he lost control of the vehicle and crashed into Long Island Ink located at 288 E. Main St. at about 11:45 p.m. source
Ciancarelli was uninjured in the crash.
The tattoo parlor was closed at the time of the collision.
Ciancarelli, of Shirley, was arrested and charged with DWI. He was held overnight at the Fifth Precinct and is scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Central Islip on Sunday.
