WEST MIFFLIN, PA. (THECOUNT) — Cree Clover, has been identified as the woman who was struck and killed by a vehicle Friday morning in West Mifflin.

Clover, 24, was critically injured when she was struck by a vehicle Friday morning on Lebanon Church Road, in West Mifflin, according to the Allegheny County Medical Examiner’s Office. She has since died in an area hospital.

Police say, Clover was struck while crossing the street in an unmarked area when a vehicle that had slowed for the pedestrian, was struck in the rear by another fast moving vehicle.

The collision pushed the first vehicle into Clover.

Initially, Clover was transported to an area hospital, where she was listed in critical condition. She was since pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries consistent with the collision.

Police say two vehicles were involved. The first was a white Chevy Cruise [sic]. They say that the driver saw the woman trying to cross the road and slowed down, but the driver behind him did not see her. Police said the driver of the vehicle that hit the woman stayed at the scene. source

Police said the investigation is ongoing and a decision on whether to file charges against the driver hasn’t been decided.
