LEEDS, AL. (THECOUNT) — Two bodies, believed to be those of missing Irondale owners of, “Siesta Motel,” were located in a wooded area in Leeds Tuesday afternoon.
Irondale Police officers announced that a suspect, identified as, Steven Mulkey, provided information that led to the recovery of Ching Kao and Siumei Kao, off Rex Lake Road.
Mulkey was captured Monday at a motel in Staunton, Virginia. Police officers believe the 27-year-old is responsible for the disappearance of Ching and Siumei Kao, the owners of the Crestwood Boulevard motel.
Anyone with information on the incident should contact police at 911.
