COLUMBUS, GA. (THECOUNT) — Destinee Virgin has been identified as the victim in a fatal Saturday night shooting in Columbus, GA.
Virgin, 18, was confirmed as the victim by the Columbus Police who say she died following a shooting in the area of Macon Rd. and Rigdon Road, Saturday evening.
Authorities say Virgin was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds.
She was transported to an area hospital where she later passed away of injuries suffered in the shooting.
Police say the suspect left the scene in the victim’s grey, four-door 2004 Nissan Maxima. The windows are reportedly tinted, with a paper tag. The suspect is described as a black male, with a skinny build, and height between 5’ to 5’9. source
No arrests have been made.
The investigation is ongoing.
