GREAT FALLS, MT. (THECOUNT) — Kendra Bayless, of Great Falls, MT, who had been reported missing since June 28th, has been found dead in Alabama, her family announced on Facebook.
The following message was posted in the “Justice For Kendra Bayless” Facebook group:
On behalf of the family, we wanted to let all of you know that the remains found have been confirmed to be Kendra Bayless. Her death is currently under investigation by the Marshall County Sheriff’s Department. We are not at liberty to discuss any details of the case, but we did want to let all of you know. Thank you to all of you for your love, support, and prayers you have shown for Kendra and her family! Kendra’s story is not over yet and now the fight for justice begins. source
No other details have been released at this point.
The Great Falls Police Department had asked for help in locating Bayless. The GFPD said in a Facebook post on Tuesday morning that officers were working with the Marshall County Sheriff’s Office in Alabama in the search for Kendra.
Kendra reportedly had not been seen since June 28th. Authorities received information that she may have been seen in Great Falls recently.
The GFPD said that Kendra used to be a resident of Great Falls.
