FALLS CHURCH, VA. (THECOUNT) — Robert MacSeain, of Fairfax, VA, has been identified by the FBI as the Falls Church Police officer arrested Wednesday on ten counts involving internet crimes against children, according to investigators.
Falls Church Police say they are cooperating with the FBI’s ongoing investigation and that an internal investigation is pending after one of their own was taken in custody by federal agents Wednesday.
Falls Church Police says that the FBI informed them that they arrested 29-year-old officer Robert MacSeain of Fairfax. source
Falls Church Police says MacSeain is suspended and that they have revoked his police authority, equipment, and access.
According to Twitter, MacSeain was on a special squad, “Crisis Intervention Team Officer” with Falls Church Police Department.
