“Corey” Lights, 41, reportedly passed away in an area hospital of blunt force trauma injuries sustained in the crash that occurred at 12:45 a.m. Thursday near, N. Big Spring St and Nobles Ave, Midland, TX
Officers responded to the crash just after 9 p.m. in the area of North Big Spring and Nobles in reference to a crash that involved a pedestrian. A 1999 GMC pickup being driven by a 17-year-old was driving when Cory Lights, 41, crossed Big Spring going westbound. Lights was not in a designated crosswalk and the driver was unable to stop. source
