HOUSTON, TX (THECOUNT) — Houston woman, Jennifer Marie Sanchez is missing and she was last seen telling her family on Saturday that she’d “be right back.”

Sanchez, 39, was reported missing by her family on Saturday after she failed to show up for work at the B&W Meat Company, where her family also said she left behind her most recent paycheck.

Family members told local reporters Sanchez was last seen when she came home to her apartment in near the 800 block of Martin Street, Houston, TX, on Thursday night.

“When she got home she took a shower, thinking that she was going to go to sleep early because she had to go to work the next day,” said her son, Joshua Jilote. source

But according to her son, hours later, around 1 a.m., he woke up to see her leaving.

“The last time I’ve seen my mom, she was walking out the door,” said Jilote.

Family members say this is unlike the woman, who has a court date next week in a case against her estranged husband.

Records show he was convicted of assaulting her in March 2017 and is currently facing a charge for assaulting her in November of the same year.

She has also filed a restraining order against him.
