NASHVILLE (WSMV) – Marcellious Scott has been named as the Nashville man who died in a motorcycle crash Tuesday night.
Scott, 56, was identified by police as the man who was killed in a motorcycle crash on Lebanon Pike in Hermitage on Tuesday night.
According to the Metro Nashville Police Department, Scott was traveling on a Harley Davidson, when he struck the concrete curb of the median and crashed at 9 p.m.

Scott was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash.
Police said drugs nor alcohol played a role in the deadly wreck.
According to Facebook, Scott worked at the US Post Office and hailed from New York, NY.
Scott’s final Facebook post asked for donations to a charity, in lieu, of receiving birthday gifts for himself:
“For my birthday this year, I’m asking for donations to Big Brother-Big Sister Foundation. I’ve chosen this nonprofit because their mission means a lot to me, and I hope you’ll consider contributing as a way to celebrate with me. Every little bit will help me reach my goal.”
