CHOCTAW, OK. (THECOUNT) — Eric Wyman Trammell has been identified by authorities as the man found shot dead Monday night in Choctaw, Oklahoma.
Trammell, 35, was found suffering from apparent gunshot wounds on a Choctaw roadway Monday just before midnight.
Choctaw officers were called to the 14200 block of N.E. 36th St. to perform a welfare check of a person lying on the side of the road.
When police arrived on-scene, they found Trammell laying in a pool of blood.

So far, no arrests have been made. A motive in the shooting was not immediately provided.
The grim discovery marks the first homicide reported in Choctaw in almost six years.
