CHESTER, VA. (THECOUNT) — Daniel Semitschew, of Midlothian, VA, has been identified as the victim who died in a Chesterfield County crash early Sunday.
Semitschew, 47, was killed in a crash that occurred at the intersection of West Hundred Road & Jefferson Davis Highway early Sunday.
Chesterfield County Police are investigating a fatal crash after the driver of a 2002 Jeep Wrangler, traveling east on West Hundred Road, ran a red light and struck a 2018 Ford Explorer.
The driver – identified Monday as Daniel Semitschew, 47, of Midlothian – was transported to John Randolph Hospital where he later died. source
Semitschew was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries suffered in the crash.
The driver and passenger of the Explorer were taken to an area hospital with minor injuries.
