WILMINGTON, NC. (THECOUNT) — Quayshon McRae has been identified by the Wilmington Police as the the man killed in a shooting at the Houston Moore Terrace housing complex Thursday.
McRae, 25, was fatally shot Thursday evening where a back-to-school cookout was taking place only blocks away, says WPD.
Police responded to the 1300 block of Greenfield Street around 5:30 p.m. in reference to shots fired.
When they arrived, officers found the victim with gunshot wounds. EMS transported McRae to New Hanover Regional Medical Center where he died from his injuries. source
