RIVERHEAD, NY. (THECOUNT) — Maxwell A. Tuthill, of Riverhead, NY, has been identified as the victim in a single-vehicle motorcycle crash Friday morning.
“Max” Tuthill, 23, was riding a 1998 Suzuki motorcycle around 12:12 a.m. west on Hubbard Avenue when the motorcycle left the road for an unknown reason near Jackson Street and struck a tree, Riverhead police said.
Police identified a Riverhead motorcyclist Saturday morning as the victim of a fatal crash there early Friday morning as Maxwell A. Tuthill, 23, of Riverhead. source
Tuthill was thrown from the motorcycle during the crash.
He was transported to an area hospital where he was later pronounced dead of blunt force trauma injuries sustained in the crash.
