WAVELAND, MS. (THECOUNT) — Robert Lanclos has been identified as the pedestrian struck and killed by a vehicle on Highway 90 in Waveland, MS. Friday.
Lanclos, 42, was identified by the Hancock County coroner as the victim killed while attempting to cross the roadway.
Officers say they arrived to reports of a man that had been struck crossing the roadway. Upon arrival, officer spoke to the woman driving the car.
She said she was traveling east when she saw the victim attempting to cross the highway. She says she attempted to avoid the victim, but was unable to. source
Lanclos was pronounced dead at the scene of blunt force trauma injuries.
