DES MOINES, IA. (THECOUNT) — Blake Jack, the brother of Dalton Black, the boyfriend of missing Iowa college student, Mollie Tibbetts, says that despite the hurtful speculation by strangers who wonder if his family had something to do with Tibbetts’ disappearance, ‘the people in this community know the truth.’
Tibbetts, 20, has been the subject of a massive search and television news campaign to locate the young woman who went missing two weeks ago. She was supposed to attend Blake’s wedding, but now the nuptials have been called off as the intense search continues.

Blake Jack says his brother Dalton and Dalton’s longtime girlfriend, missing 20-year-old Mollie Tibbetts, were supposed to fly out Wednesday to be there when he married his fiancee, Aimee Houghton, on the beach in the Dominican Republic. Blake says they cancelled the wedding and that his family has been under unwarranted scrutiny by strangers over her disappearance. But, he says, cancelling his wedding is nothing compared to what their small town of 1,400 people is going though. source
Blake also says investigators have confirmed their whereabouts on the night Tibbetts vanished.
