TX Man Jaime Salazar ID’d As Dallas Victim In Friday Charger-Vs-DART Bus Crash

DALLAS, TX. (THECOUNT) — Jaime Salazar, of Dallas, has been identified as the victim killed after his vehicle was struck by a DART bus early Friday morning.

Salazar, 20, was operating a Dodge Charger at a high rate of speed when he collied with a DART bus in downtown Dallas.

The crash injured three people and killed Salazar, the driver of the Charger.

The bus was driving on the 405 route, south on Polk Street when a Dodge Charger was speeding down west on 12th. The bus had a green light when it was hit on the back left side near the wheel and overturned as a result. source

The driver and two passengers were taken to area hospitals for observation.

Salazar was pronounced dead at the scene.

Anyone with information on the crash is urged to contact police at 911.
