LAS VEGAS, NV. (THECOUNT) — Medical examiners identified Thomas Romero as the victim killed in a shooting Wednesday morning in Las Vegas.
Romero, 25, died from multiple gunshot wounds, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office. He was transported to Sunrise Hospital where he was later pronounced deceased.
The manner of death was ruled a homicide.
Las Vegas Metro police said the incident occurred at 7:30 a.m. in the 1400 block of North Eastern Avenue, near Owens Avenue. Arriving officers said they found Romero suffering from gunshot wounds to the chest, police said. source
Police said the suspect was seen in a black truck with black rims. He was described as a heavy-set Hispanic man.
