LINCOLN, NE. (THECOUNT) — Nebraska woman, Stephanie Leard, of Hickman, has been identified as the victim in a fatal rollover crash near Norris High School, located at, S 68th St, Firth, NE, Monday night, according to the Lancaster County Sheriff’s Office.
Leard, 33, was identified by LSO as the woman operating a 2003 Acura when she exited the roadway for an unknown reason and entered a ditch.
Emergency responders were called to S. 68th Street, just south of Norris High School, at about 9 p.m. Monday on a report of a rollover accident. LSO said the 2003 Acura, driven by Leard, was traveling southbound on 68th Street when it left the roadway, entered the west ditch, and rolled. source
Leard was ejected from the vehicle.
She was life flighted to a local hospital where she was pronounced dead a short time later.
Anyone with information on the crash is urged to contact police at 911.
