Horry County, SC. (THECOUNT) — Middlesex, NC, woman, Jennifer Fitchett, was identified as the body found in Myrtle Beach, SC near a popular biking and hiking trail.
Fitchett, 41, who resided in Bailey, was named by authorities as the woman found murdered near the end of Palmetto Pointe Boulevard Saturday evening.

Police said they are investigating Fitchett’s death as a homicide.
The victim has been identified as 41-year-old Jennifer Fitchett. She is originally from Middlesex, NC, according to Horry County Deputy Coroner Michelle McSpadden. source
Investigators on scene say the area where the body was found, Palmetto Glen Drive and Palmetto Pointe Boulevard, a popular biking and hiking trail.
