ASHLAND, NE. (THECOUNT) — Omaha man, Aaron Roth, has been identified as the victim in a fatal motorcycle crash near Ashland.
Roth, 31, was operating a Harley Davidson on U.S. 6 near Ashland, Nebraska, when a struck a deer that had crossed his path. Roth then veered off the roadway and came into contact with the guardrail.
His Harley reportedly caught fire and hit a guardrail, in that order, according to an accident report.
Officials said Roth attempted to avoid the deer, but there was a collision. The motorcycle then lost control, caught fire, and hit a guardrail. source
Roth was pronounced dead at the scene.
