CHESTER COUNTY, S.C. (THECOUNT) – Jada Jones has been identified as the 14-year-old girl shot and killed during a drive-by shooting in Chester County Sunday night, police said.
Two men are in custody in a Chester shooting that left the popular Chester teen dead.
According to the Chester County Sheriff’s Office, deputies responded to a shooting in the 500 block of Pinckney Street shortly after 9 p.m. Sunday. Detectives said Jada Jones was an innocent bystander when the shooting happened. source
According to Rock Hills Schools Jones attended Rawlinson Road Middle School and Raven Academy during the 2017-2018 school year.
Police have not identified the men in custody at this time or announced any formal charges.
