DES MOINES, Iowa (THECOUNT) — Jerry Goff has been identified as the victim in a fatal weekend shooting in Des Moines, IA.
Goff, 40, died in the hospital after being shot Sunday at around 2:15 a.m. in the 600 block of 38th Street, Des Moines, IA.
Police say, Goff was transported by a private vehicle after the shooting occurred. The shooting may have stemmed from an earlier domestic dispute, however police declined to elaborate. The Polk County Attorney’s Office was assigned to the homicide investigation.
Police say they believe the shooting stemmed from a domestic incident. No arrests have been made. Police say they are working with the Polk County Attorney’s Office already in this case. source
