Andre Guy has been named as the Louisiana man who died at a Baton Rouge hospital after being shot following an argument over a Sunday game of basketball.

Guy, 35, from Slaughter, LA., was shot along with another man during an altercation on S. Afton Pkwy, Baton Rouge, LA.

Investigators said, Guy, who had left the scene by the time first responders arrived, showed up at an area hospital emergency room suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the legs.

Hospital staff received two male victims, one of which was “shot multiple times in the lower extremities.” The other unidentified victim is expected to survive. That person’s injuries were not immediately released.

The suspected shooter, who is being sought, fled the scene before BRPD officers arrived.

According to police, the shooting happened on South Afton Parkway just before 7 p.m. after an argument during a basketball game. Officers said both victims were driven to the hospital in private vehicles Sunday before they arrived at the scene. source
