The Texas Department of Public Safety has released a report naming, Darla Watson, as the victim killed in a Lindale, TX., area crash involving a automobile and a tracker-trailer Friday.

Troopers say they responded to reports of a collision on I-20, about 10 miles east of Lindale, at 2:32 p.m., involving two vehicles. Upon arrival, first responders found Darla McCloud Watson, 62, of Tampa, FL., has died at the scene.

Preliminary crash investigative reports indicate that a 2017 Nissan Altima, driven by Victor Leonard Watson, 59, of Pensacola FL., was traveling west bound on IH-20 in the left lane while a 2016 International truck tractor towing a semi-trailer, driven by Wayne Maxwell Combee, 64, of Lakeland FL., was traveling west in the right lane. Watson failed to drive in a single lane, traveling partially off the left side of the roadway before over correcting to the right across the left and right eastbound lanes. The truck tractor struck the Altima in the right lane of IH-20. source
