The coroner has identified Philip Trent Banks Jr., as the victim in Monday’s fatal shooting in York City.
Banks, 20, was fatally shot in the first block of North Franklin Street in what police are calling a “targeted shooting.”
Banks was pronounced dead at 4:54 p.m. on May 21, the York County Coroner confirmed.
York City Police responded to North Franklin Street around 4 p.m. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male, who was pronounced dead at the scene. Police say the victim was targeted. source
An autopsy has been scheduled for 8 a.m. on May 22 at Lehigh Valley Hospital.
