Michael Thomas Arnold III has been identified by the Greenville County Sheriff’s Office and Coroner’s Office as the South Carolina found dead behind Casa de Misericordia church in Greenville.
Authorities are investigating to determine a manner and cause of death. The coroner said Arnold, 22, died Friday night. He was the subject of a missing persons case, police said.

Authorities were called to Odom Circle at Highlawn Avenue Saturday around 11 a.m.
The coroner said Michael Thomas Arnold III, 22, was found unresponsive in a lot behind the Casa de Micericordia church. Greenville County deputies said the investigation is connected to a missing person’s report they received Friday. source
The coroner said the circumstances around Arnold’s death remain under investigation.
An autopsy has been scheduled for Monday.
