Jonesboro, Arkansas, man, Dennis Cole Young, has been identified as the young man killed in a head-on crash in Lawrence County Wednesday morning.
Young, 26, was traveling in a 2016 Toyota Camry north on Highway 63 around 5:50 a.m. when he crossed centerlines and struck an 18-wheeler head-on.
The crash happened south of Hoxie on U.S. 63 & Arkansas Highway 91. Dennis Cole Young, 26, of Pocahontas was killed in the crash, according to an Arkansas State Police crash report. The report states Young was driving a 2016 Toyota Camry north on Highway 63 when it crossed the centerline. It then struck a Peterbilt semi-truck head-on on the southbound shoulder. source
The driver of the semi-truck was uninjured. No other injuries were reported in the crash.
