Christopher Brooks, of Blountville, TN., has been identified by the Sullivan County Sheriff’s Office as the motorcyclist killed in a crash on Monday evening.
Deputies say, Brooks, a SCVFD firefighter, died after the motorcycle he was operating veered off the roadway and struck a fence.
The crash happened around 4;30 p.m. on Catawba Lane in Blountville. source
The crash remains under investigation, but detectives say they believe speed was a factor in the crash.
The Sullivan County Volunteer Fire Department released a brief statement on Brooks’ passing via Facebook:
