Steven Breneman has been identified as the WI suspect in a fatal shooting in Portage County that left one man dead, according to a sheriff’s department’s press release.
Breneman, 31, shot dead Donald Brewer, 45, while on the porch of Brewer’s residence, located in the town of Almond, Wisconsin , Saturday evening.
The men were reportedly engaged in an argument over “marital infidelity,” when the fatal shooting occurred. Brewer’s sons, ages 14 and 12, are said to have witnessed the violent argument and resulting fatal shooting, according to police.
Breneman fled the scene but was later apprehended a short distance away, officials said.
Breneman is being held on first degree homicide charges. He’s expected to appear in court Monday. source
An autopsy will be conducted on Brewer Monday as well.
