Reno Hikers Find Body Of Missing NV Man Matt Trippett Cause Of Death Presumed Suicide

The body of missing Reno, NV., man, Matt Trippett, has been located by area hikers. The cause of death is presumed to be suicide.

Reno Police Detectives say Trippett was reported missing by his wife, Jamie Agee Trippett, last week. His body was located in Storey County. It appears he died of a self-inflicted wound, police say.

Deputies say hikers found the body of Matt Trippett and that say it appears he died of a self-inflicted wound, but an autopsy will be conducted to confirm the cause of death. On Friday, a Reno woman reached out to friends and family on Facebook for help in finding her husband who went missing last Monday. Trippett, husband to Jamie Agee Trippett and father to their twin boys was last seen on April 30th around 3:30 p.m. source

Jamie Agee said in part on the Facebook post:

“Please, please, please look around as you are out and about and direct message me or call Reno Police if you see his vehicle anywhere. We miss him so much and are so saddened by his disappearance. We need him home. Thank you for your help.”
