UT Husband Celebrating Wife’s B-Day Dies While Attempting To Shoot Flaming Arrow Through Paper Heart In Circleville Canyon

Dee Jessop was identified as the Utah man who died while celebrating his wife’s birthday.

Jessop, 51, was tragically killed Saturday after climbing up a cliff while visiting Circleville Canyon, Utah, to shoot a celebratory arrow and instead slipping and falling 60 feet to his death.

Police say the man, 51-year-old Dee Jessop, was attempting to climb up a cliff and use his bow to shoot a lighted arrow into a painted heart when he slipped. Investigators say he fell about 60 feet. source

It happened in Circleville Canyon near Highway 89.
