Douglas “Fireball” Adams has been named as the 52-year-old Orlando man found shot to death Saturday inside his home in unincorporated Altamonte Springs.
Adams had last been seen at the home between 7 p.m. and 9 p.m. Friday, deputies said.
Deputies said they were called to the home in the 500 block of Georgia Avenue just after 3:30 p.m. by a woman who had arrived to perform a welfare check on the resident, identified as Adams.
She told investigators she found him dead in the home, according to the Seminole County Sheriff’s Office. source
The Sheriff’s Office is considering the death to be suspicious at this time.
A suspect or motive for the killing is yet unknown.
