A married female couple and their six adopted children are presumed dead after their SUV plunged off a California coastal cliff.
One of the children, Devonte Hart, gained fame after being photographed during a 2014 protest in Portland, Oregon, while hugging Portland police sergeant, Sgt. Bret Barnum.
The family’s sport utility vehicle was thrust off a 100-foot cliff in California and was discovered on Monday — upside down, engulfed by the waves of the Pacific Ocean.
All occupants are presumed dead.
