Madalyn Arnett, an Ohio high school teacher, was arrested after being place paid administrative leave Tuesday.

Arnett, 25, (full name, Madalyn Schae Arnett,) was arrested over allegedly having inappropriate electronic communication with a student.

Arnett was arrested at 9:20 p.m. Tuesday night at her West Carrollton residence on a charge of sexual battery, a third-degree felony, according to booking information on the Warren County Jail website. source

Arnett, a social studies teacher at Franklin High School, located at, 750 E 4th St, Franklin, OH 45005, was placed on paid administrative leave on Tuesday for allegedly having inappropriate electronic communication with a student after district administrators became aware of the issue on Monday afternoon.

The details of the sexual battery were not immediately clear.

Arnett is scheduled to be arraigned at noon Friday in Franklin Municipal Court.
