Timothy Douglas, of Moline, IA., has been identified as the driver of the motorcycle who died in a Tuesday morning crash. He was 54.
Douglas was discovered by a construction crew around 2:48 a.m. on the Interstate 280 exit ramp to Rockingham Road.
Davenport Police, Davenport Fire and Medic EMS responded to a single motorcycle crash around 2:48 a.m. on the Interstate 280 exit ramp to Rockingham Road. A construction crew arriving at a work scene discovered the accident and alerted authorities. source
Douglas was transported to Genesis Medical Center East where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
The investigation is being conducted by the Davenport Police Department’s Traffic Safety Unit.
