Erik Matthew Miller has been named as a suspect in a string of simultaneous arson fires late Tuesday night in Goshen, Indiana.
Emergency crews responded to three different fires that occured at the following locations and times:

300 block of N. 9th at 11:40 PM
400 block of East St. at 11:56 PM
200 block of W. Wilden at 12:02 AM
These locations are within a two-mile range of each other and occurred within about half an hour.
Two of the fires were at vacant homes, and the other fire was an abandoned boat near a home.
No injuries have been reported.
Goshen police say that Miller is a person of interest after he was found hiding in a garage in the 209 W. Oakridge Avenue. He allegedly tried to barricade himself into the room, but police were able to take him into custody. source
Miller, is described as a 30-year-old “homeless man,” by local press.
TheCount.com located several booking photos of Miller. He has an extensive arrest record dating back years. He was most recently arrested Feb 28 for failure to appear.
He remains in the Elkhart County Jail on preliminary charges of resisting law enforcement, criminal trespass, and two counts of possession of methamphetamines.
An arson investigation is ongoing.
