Authorities say a 62-year-old Columbus woman has been arrested after allegedly stealing a donation box setup for the two fallen Westerville Police Officers.
Donna Lee Ater has been charged with theft after police say an Average Joe’s employee noticed their donation box to raise money for the fallen officers was missing and so was about $300.
The employee noticed on surveillance video that a woman who was playing Keno took the cash.
Employees say Ater left before anyone could confront her.
