Brandedburg was caring for some of her relatives’ children in a Huffman Avenue home when she was killed.
In February, the trial of Chuckie Lee, 39, who is facing charges of shooting and killing Brandenburg, was delayed. The trial was pushed back for Lee’s second attorney to step down as counsel to the defendant. In 2017, a third person charged in connection to the death, Evans Cassell III, 36, and was sentenced to 18 years to life in prison for his role. Cassell was found guilty of the same charge Parisi-King faced, complicity to commit murder, as well as a firearms charge.source
Parisi-King is scheduled to be sentenced on March 27 and faces 15 years to life in prison.
