Jefferson City police said they are now classifying the death of Ronald Rattler as a murder.
Jefferson City Police officers were called to the 600 block of Clark Avenue around 11:15 a.m. Sunday to render medical assistance. The department said officers found Rattler dead inside the residence.
Police said that Rattler, 41 suffered from at least one gunshot wound and the exact causes of death would be determined by the medical examiner’s office.
Officers said throughout their investigation, they interviewed a number of people who were believed to have some knowledge of the circumstances surrounding the death and determined it was a murder. source
