TheCount.com has obtained photos of New Haven man, Stanley McLellan, who was the victim of a fatal stabbing at 106 Ivy St, New Haven, CT.
New Haven police say they are investigating the death of McLellan, 51, who they said was stabbed in the head, possibly with his own knife.
According to police, McLellan, aka, Stanley Maurice McLellan, traveled to a neighbor’s residence while wielding a knife. It was his intention to confront another man who lived there, police said.
A fight ensued and McLellan was stabbed in the head by the male resident, possibly with the knife McLellan brought with him, police said.
Police said McLellan showed up to the home and threatened to “stab everyone,” while on the front porch.
The resident of the home said he disarmed McLellan and stabbed him with his own knife.
McLellan was pronounced dead at the scene.
The man who lives there was interviewed by detectives and has not been charged. source
