“Frasier” Father John Mahoney Passes Away At 77

John Mahoney, who played the beloved father on the sitcom “Frasier,” has passed away, according to TMZ. He was 77.

The British-born actor played Martin Crane, the father of both Kelsey Grammer’s and David Hyde Pierce’s characters, for 11 seasons on Frasier.

Mahoney’s publicist told TMZ the actor passed away Sunday in hospice care.
