Family Remembers Young SC Man Killed In Bluff Road Head-On Collision

Authorities say a head-on collision claimed the life of Howard “PJ” Henderson Friday night.

Born, Howard Victor Henderson II, the beloved young man from Columbia, South Carolina, was only 20 years old at the time of his death.

A 4-door Dodge drifted into oncoming traffic just before 6 p.m. on Bluff Road, according the S.C. Highway Patrol. The driver, identified as 20-year-old Howard Victor Henderson III, was pronounced dead at the scene from blunt neck trauma.

Two other vehicles were reportedly involved in the crash. A second driver was treated for non life-threatening injuries at a local hospital, and the third driver sustained minor injuries. source

The accident is under investigation by the South Carolina Highway Patrol.
