Omaha Police are seeking a man following Tuesday night’s triple homicide. John W. Dalton Jr., 46, is considered armed and dangerous after allegedly killing his father, John Dalton, 70, his mother, Jean Dalton, 65, and his 18-year-old niece, Leonna Dalton-Philip.
Police say, Dalton, Jr. has already served time in prison for murdering his wife in 1998. She was 22 at the time of her death. Dalton, Jr. was reportedly staying with his family over the holidays. Police did not say how the grisly murders were carried out.
Officers were called to a home in the 3900 block of N 37th Street shortly before 8 p.m. to investigate a shooting Tuesday. They found three victims dead at the scene. Police say Dalton should be considered armed and dangerous. He might be driving a Black 2015 GMC Terrain with Nebraska license plate UKB787 or a Red 2007 Chevy Tahoe with Nebraska plate VRD559. source
