WHITE PINE, Tenn. – A Christmas Nativity pageant in Jefferson County, Tennessee, turned into slow motion chaos when a 2-year-old “sheep” tried to steal the Baby Jesus and “Mary” tried to step in.
One of the preschoolers wanted to play with the baby doll stand-in for Christ, while the other realized it needed to stay in the manger, and a brawl ensued. At one point, “Mary” had the “sheep” in a headlock.
The congregation roared with laugher and parents eventually had to step in.
The “sheep”‘s mother, Tana Benson, posted video of the incident to Facebook where it’s gotten over 200,000 shares and more than 7 million views.
