Jennifer Hudson‘s nasty custody battle for her 8-year-old son just took a major turn for the worse after a judge awarded primary custody of the boy to her estranged fiancé, former WWE star, David Otunga.

The Grammy-winning singer returned to court yesterday to learn she would be losing primary custody of her son, David Otunga Jr., to the reality star.

Hudson and Otunga reportedly reached a temporary custody agreement yesterday, which mandates that the former WWE star will maintain custody of the newly-separated couple’s son. The court awarded Otunga with primary custody – for now – because Hudson is currently on set in London filming The Voice UK and will be embarking on heavy travel to Los Angeles to film America’s The Voice. source

According to TMZ, “David has said he’s been his son’s primary caregiver since birth because of Jennifer’s travel schedule.”

It’s also reported that Hudson “voluntarily” dropped her Order of Protection against Otunga.
