The Auburn’s Athletic Department has placed two support staffers of the men’s basketball team, Jordan VerHulst and Frankie Sullivan, on administrative leave until further notice.
On Wednesday, Auburn fired associate head basketball coach Chuck Person, who has been indicted on federal bribery, conspiracy and fraud charges.
The department released this statement Monday:
“The Auburn Athletics Department has placed men’s basketball support staff members Jordan VerHulst and Frankie Sullivan on administrative leave until further notice based upon the university’s ongoing investigation into the men’s basketball program.” source
Verhulst is in his fourth season under coach Bruce Pearl and his first as special assistant to the head coach, according to his biography. Verhulst spent the past three seasons as video coordinator and was in charge of team video for scouting opponents.
Sullivan is in his third season under Pearl and currently serves as the video coordinator. His bio says he previously spent two seasons as a graduate manager for the Tigers after finishing his professional career in Romania.
