A newlywed who was gunned down in Cherokee Triangle was able to return fire and hit one of the suspects.
Louisville Police confirm that 30-year-old Jason Spencer was armed with a gun and returned fire at the suspects.
A 15-year-old boy was shot, and he was later taken into custody in the Park Hill neighborhood. A second suspect remains at large.
The Sunday night shooting killed Spencer, who was walking home with his wife on Everett Avenue.
Our thoughts and prayers go out to the family and friends at this difficult time.
